The Role: Account Manager (Americas) EXSIF Worldwide
The role of the Account Manager is to develop existing accounts on the east region of United States and Canada as well as establish new customers. This role is accountable to develop and oversee all commercial activities in these geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand the business, improve returns, and achieve the company's strategic objectives.
- Maintain and increase business with existing and prospective new customers.
- Research/develop potential market opportunities, new applications and tank/chassis conversion areas.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries; following up as necessary with hand-off to appropriate support team.
- Monitor all developments that impact our customers' business, whether directly or indirectly, and circulate through the organization as appropriate (i.e. passing sales leads to other sales persons in other areas).
- Maintain current information on industry/regulatory developments.
- Maintain current competitor information, including (but not limited to) pricing, terms and conditions, new production orders/plans, equipment availability, and repositioning.
- Establish and review monthly/quarterly/annual sales plan and forecast.
- Visit existing customers on a regular basis, with actual frequency dependent upon business volumes/potential.
- Document and provide updates on customer visits, in written form, via sales/visit reports as well as updating any new leads or opportunities in the CRM system.
- Provide monthly regional report with regards to sales performance, market insights, and key customer updates.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or transportation field or a minimum of 8-10 years of transportation and business development experience.
- Existing working experience in tank equipment is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Able to prioritize workload, and exercise sound judgment with established EXSIF Worldwide Inc. policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software.
