Description
MODELITHICS, INC., the leading independent provider of simulation models for Radio
Frequency and Microwave (RF/MW) devices, seeks an Applications Engineer. Position
requirements include a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with RF and microwave focus,
or BSEE with minimum 2 years’ experience in RF Engineering related technical position, or
master’s degree in electrical engineering with RF and microwave focus, plus excellent
communication skills, along with a sincere interest and aptitude for marketing / sales related
application related work.
Primary job responsibilities include technical support and promotion of Modelithics products and
services. The Applications Engineer communicates directly with external customers, partners, and
sales representatives and coordinates closely with Modelithics, engineering, sales and management
teams to identify and develop new opportunities. The qualified applicant may participate in
customer visits, trade shows, webinars, marketing and training videos and web meetings to provide
training and troubleshooting as well as to gather information for service product quotation requests
(RFQ’s). The Applications Engineer works with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Engineering
team to develop application notes, design examples, papers and video tutorials. Additional
responsibilities may include working directly with the software product team to manage multiple
software product installer and early access testing phases.
Requirements
This position requires possession of or ability to acquire:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of Modelithics products and services and the ability to provide software demonstrations, answer technical questions, help with troubleshooting, etc.
Proficiency with multiple supported simulators (Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR, Keysight Genesys, Ansys HFSS, and SIMULIA CST Studio) - High proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Experience with RF and Microwave Circuit Design simulation tools
- Experience with Camtasia audio/video recording and editing software
Note: U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is a requirement for this position.
