Associate Podiatrist
Carolina Foot Centers - five locations and growing
$150,000 base Salary plus bonus structure.

Carolina Foot Centers is seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Podiatrist to join our expanding team in the Charleston region.
Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive, modern podiatric care using advanced diagnostics, innovative treatment options, and a supportive team environment. We are looking for a physician who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, values teamwork, and wants to grow professionally within a thriving private practice.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a well-established multi-location practice with access to advanced in-office technologies and a strong referral base.

Clinical Responsibilities
The Associate Podiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of foot and ankle conditions including:
Diabetic foot care and limb preservation
Wound care and ulcer management
Musculoskeletal injuries
Heel pain and plantar fasciitis
Tendon disorders
Neuromas and forefoot conditions
Nail and skin disorders
Trauma and fracture management
Vascular and neurologic conditions of the lower extremity
Our practice supports both conservative care and procedural treatment options, allowing physicians to provide individualized care based on patient needs.
Diagnostic and Treatment Capabilities
Carolina Foot Centers provides access to several in-office diagnostic and therapeutic services, including:
Diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound
Fluoroscopy imaging
Ankle Brachial Index testing
In-office procedures and minor surgery
Injection therapies
Custom orthotic therapy
Bracing and durable medical equipment
Shockwave therapy
Laser therapies
Regenerative medicine treatments
Physicians are encouraged to utilize these resources when clinically appropriate to provide comprehensive patient care.
Documentation and Clinical Excellence

Responsibilities include:
Accurate and timely chart documentation
Appropriate CPT and ICD coding
Completion of procedure documentation
Maintaining high standards for medical necessity and compliance
Efficient documentation helps support excellent patient care and ensures the smooth operation of the practice.

Treatment Supplies and Practice Resources
Certain treatments and products used in patient care involve a direct cost to the practice, including items such as:
Durable medical equipment
Skin substitutes
Advanced wound products
Regenerative medicine treatments
Stem cell therapies
Cash-pay procedures and advanced therapies
These items are tracked as part of overall treatment utilization and are incorporated into physician productivity and compensation calculations as outlined in the employment agreement.

Qualifications
Required:
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program
Board qualified or board certified
Eligible for licensure in South Carolina
DEA registration
Preferred:
Experience with diagnostic ultrasound
Experience performing in-office procedures
Interest in advanced therapies or regenerative medicine
Experience in private practice
