We’re looking for people who are passionate about blending storytelling with design and technology to bring these environments to life.
AV Solution Engineer:
As an AV Solutions Engineer at TSC you will be the technical authority for system design, AV network architecture, integration, and final commissioning of complex AV systems. This is a hands-on technical role that also owns third-party supplier coordination and delivery management — you’ll define bills of materials, lead onsite commissioning, produce final as-built documentation, and keep multi-stakeholder projects on track. This role requires deep AV networking knowledge, strong system design skills, and excellent stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system design and documentation for AV projects — generate detailed diagrams, BOMs, network maps, rack elevations, and as-built packages.
- Define and oversee AV network architecture and configurations — VLANs, QoS, Dante/AES67, NDI, AVB and other AV-over-IP protocols.
- Design and commission DSPs, matrix switchers, video wall processors, professional audio systems, PTZ/conference cameras, LED/LCD displays, and UC integrations.
- Lead onsite commissioning and acceptance testing (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, Dante, TSS Software, Biamp/Tesira, etc.). Produce test logs and handover documentation.
- Own delivery and third-party supplier coordination — keep milestones, risks, and dependencies visible; recommend mitigations and ensure third-party deliverables are realistic and executed.
- Work closely with Project Management, Sales, Creative and Installation vendors to ensure solutions meet client requirements and are integrated with ICT/IT teams.
- Maintain security-aware AV deployment practices and ensure compliance with network/cybersecurity standards for AV systems.
- TSC offers competitive compensation with annual bonus potential, 3 weeks paid time off, healthcare coverage, and a 401(k) plan.
- The Storytelling Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating inclusive experiences for all.
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation and annual bonus potential.
