Description

We're working with a hedge fund to hire a C# Front Office Software Developer to join their front office technology team in London. This role focuses on the design, development, and support of trading systems, working closely with developers, traders, and researchers in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside developers, traders, and researchers to design, build, and support trading systems

• Develop data pipelines to ingest and process data from multiple vendors and internal sources

• Build monitoring tools and dashboards to ensure system performance and availability

• Contribute to improvements in software development processes, including test coverage and automation of build and deployment

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM subject from a leading university

• Minimum 4 years' experience in C# development within a hedge fund or financial services environment

• Experience with trading systems, such as order management systems or automated investment workflows

• Working knowledge of Python and SQL

• Familiarity with Linux environments

• Experience with modern development practices, including source control, CI/CD, and containerisation

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance development, infrastructure, and security considerations
