Description
CAD/ Drafter Design EngineerHighlights:
Location: Broomfield, CO
Project Duration: 2 months
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: BOE
Summary:
- The CAD Drafter will provide surge support for a specific project requiring fast-turn drafting, drawing creation, and documentation control.
Responsibilities:
- Generate 3D models from engineering notes and references
- Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Prepare customer-facing drawing packages
- Ensure proper material/spec callouts
- Coordinate with purchasing and vendors for manufacturability checks
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with aerospace hardware (fasteners, brackets, assemblies)
- Familiarity with configuration management practices
- Ability to work under tight timelines
