The intern will undertake a variety of assignments and projects in support of Marmon Aerospace operations. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must, as is a good understanding of research.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND IMPORTANCE OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The most critical part of the job responsibilities; requires most of the employee's time and effort.
- Conducting studies, i.e . time studies, locomotion studies, to be used in enhancement projects in a lean endeavor.
- Design and implement ergonomic work methods & efficiency optimization strategies.
- Be a key role player in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products.
- Value Stream Mapping and Visual Management.
- Initiate, plan, execute, and control strategic projects to accomplish operational goals.
- Potential for travel across eight (8) domestic sites to further improve and hone skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Future Metals will consider students who have completed at least four semesters of college in the following major: Engineering
- Excellent verbal, written and telephonic communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business

- Computer Skills including MS Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
