Job Overview
The Automation Data Engineer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of business rules within Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems, primarily focusing on the Utilization Management and Claims Departments. Additionally, under the direction of the Automation Manager, this role will help develop solutions across various business units, to enhance operational efficiency and automate repetitive tasks. The role encompasses an exploratory aspect regarding the potential integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies into the organization's processes. Therefore, experience or familiarity with AI and ML is considered beneficial. The Automation Engineer operates within a software development life cycle framework and may engage in cross-functional activities, particularly with software development teams, to facilitate process and system integrations.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or technical discipline required or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL and RDBMS systems such as Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools required.
- Experience with BI tools, specifically Crystal and/or SSRS to transform raw data into meaningful insights for business analysis purposes preferred.
- Experience with designing, developing, and supporting RPA systems preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, with the ability to contribute to the assessment and integration of AI/ML into automation processes preferred.
Compensation
$100,692.80 - $151,456.97 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
