Description

We are working with a leading asset manager that is expanding its data capabilities and looking to hire a Data Engineer to support the development of their modern data platform.

This role is suited to someone with strong technical foundations in SQL and Python, an interest in building data products, and the communication skills to work effectively across a growing data environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and enhance a range of data solutions using SQL, Python and solid data transformation skills
• Play a key role in moving existing datasets into Snowflake and building out new pipelines in Python to support analytics and AI use cases
• Take ownership of day-to-day data upkeep, including tweaks and improvements within the current T-SQL environment and occasional work in C#
• Work closely with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver robust, scalable data outputs
• Get involved in the firm's growing focus on AI and broader data governance projects as the team and platform evolve

We are looking for:

• Strong skills in SQL, Python,C# and hands-on experience building or maintaining data products
• Good understanding of data maintenance practices and quality control
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical detail to non-technical stakeholders
• Early-stage exposure to Snowflake and Python development
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred but not essential)
