Bring your enthusiasm, leadership, and love of working with youth to Girl Scouts San Diego’s 2026 Summer Day Camp Team!
As a Day Camp Counselor, you’ll inspire courage, confidence, and character in campers while leading them to experience the magic of summer camp. Join us for a season of smiles and the chance to build your skills while creating lifelong memories.
What You'll Do
- Guide girls through their camp experience with a blend of fun, engaging activities including:
- Creative art and STEM projects
- Archery and other sports
- Team building challenges
- Collaborate with teammates to plan and execute safe, unforgettable program activities onsite and offsite.
- Be a role model encouraging campers to try new things and grow, while they create friendships along the way.
Employment Dates
June 8 – July 31, 2026
Compensation & Perks
- Earn $121 - $128 per day (depending on experience).
- Work in the beautiful park-like setting of our Balboa Campus.

Requirements
What You Bring
- At least 18 years old by June 8, 2026.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Commitment to work June 8 through July 31, 2026.
- Ability to interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17; prior youth-focused work or volunteer experience preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain positive professional work relationships.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Access to reliable transportation; valid driver's license required for some roles.
