Project Overview:
Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas.RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team as a Project Manager to develop goals, milestones, priorities, metrics, and execution plans. Your team will monitor customer feedback, compliance, and project performance, ensuring that safety and sustainability goals are integrated. Your innovative recommendations for high quality work will help ensure customer satisfaction and will support new business development.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for direction or performance of staff activities,including employee development and guidance withinassigned area(s)
Ensures processes and procedures are fully developed andimplemented
Recommends changes to policies and guidelines wherenecessary
Creates and administers staff schedules and de-conflictsas necessary
Serves as a liaison between project teams, internal orexternal clients or other functional areas of the organization
Ensures work is completed on time and within establishedquality standards and provides reports to internal andexternal clients and/or project/functional management
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of industry, technology and EPC work processes, including knowledge of customs, culture, and business practices
Previous project management or construction management experience on lump sum and reimbursable tank projects in domestic or international settings
Knowledge and experience in project execution plan development and implementation
Knowledge and experience in contracts/subcontracts formulation, risk analysis and negotiations
Ability to effectively organize and staff a project team within a matrix organization
Prior construction supervision and management experience on LNG Tank and/or LNG Regas EPC projects similar to the projects described above
Strong "Zero Accident" ES&H experience
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
Advanced level of knowledge of ES&H, procurement, and construction
