Generation Procurement Student Intern/Co-Op 

The System Planning team is responsible for determining our system’s optimal mix of power generation sources, technologies and capacities needed to meet customers’ current and future energy needs in a reliable, resilient and affordable manner. This team works collaboratively across the system while driving consistency and efficiency as we design, evaluate and procure our system resources. 

Requirements

•       Support the team in leading and managing various activities throughout the Request for Proposal (RFP) phases from RFP implementation through Construction, Interconnection and Billing.
•       Develop templates and process improvement documents/agents to assist with streamlining processes throughout the RFPs and with internal support teams
•       Gain knowledge of system reliability needs, generation technology options, market procurement practices, emerging trends and factors affecting the market, evolving commercial terms and conditions
•       Work across partner departments to continually improve and drive consistency in the generation resource procurement processes in coordination with changing market conditions.
