Position Description
ScholarMatch is seeking a temporary, non-exempt, part-time Information Systems (IS) Associate. The IS Associate reports to the Associate Director of Information Systems and will provide basic account access tasks, simple data tasks, and light system support. The ideal candidate will follow a Standard Operating Process (SOP) and maintain confidentiality. This position is based in California but can work remotely with flexible start and end times within normal business hours (25 - 30 hours/ week). Work days and hours will be decided upon hire.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support and troubleshoot when required to reset passwords in Google Workspace after following verification process
Complete simple account setup tasks within approved systems
Update record information in Airtable with support from the IS team
Run simple data checks to confirm records are complete and accurate
Assist with small tasks for events that requiring technology setup
Update internal documentation when procedures change
Follow all ScholarMatch confidentiality requirements and security practices
IT Support:
Complete data requests that fit predefined templates
Upload program data into Airtable when instructions are provided
Perform quality checks on program data before it is used by other teams
Join team meetings when needed to confirm task requirements
Process and store confidential data and information according to ScholarMatch guidelines
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned, “all hands on deck” mindset
Compensation and Benefits
The dates for this temporary position are from January 7 - June 5, 2026 with an hourly rate of $35.00.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM; math, computing, or data science preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in data analysis and information technology systems or related work experience
- Experience with Airtable, i.e. experience in customizing Airtable bases, building and refining formulas, automating workflows, and integrating with other applications
- Experience with Google Suite
- Reliable
- Ability to exercise confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
- Proficient understanding of database design and coding to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval, with an emphasis on maintaining data integrity
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data management, analysis, and reporting
- Able to be flexible with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to perform all functions of this position within what would be deemed to be reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities throughout the organization
- Must be comfortable working in an anti-racist organization with a diverse group of external callers and visitors and internal staff at all levels
