Investment Analyst - Global Multi‑Strategy Hedge Fund (Hong Kong)

A leading global Tier‑1 multi‑strategy hedge fund is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Hong Kong office. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with a highly regarded Portfolio Manager in Asia who runs a global technology equities book spanning Asia and the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on companies across global technology sectors, including Asia-based and US-listed names.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment recommendations.
• Analyze industry dynamics for segments such as semiconductors, hardware, internet, software, and broader TMT.
• Prepare investment theses, pitch materials, and ongoing monitoring updates for the Portfolio Manager.
• Track company data, competitive trends, and macro indicators relevant to the coverage universe.
• Collaborate closely with the PM to support portfolio construction, risk assessment, and idea generation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of total work experience in sell-side equity research, long/short hedge funds, or long-only asset management.
• Strong exposure to Tech / Semiconductors / Hardware / Internet / Software / TMT sectors.
• Fluent English and Chinese language capabilities, with strong communication and writing skills.
• Academic credentials from a top-tier global university, ideally in STEM, Economics, Finance, or Media/Journalism.
• Experience studying or working in Taiwan is considered a plus, particularly for candidates familiar with the semiconductor supply chain.
• A self-driven, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive under a high-performance culture.
