Job Summary:
Proficient individuals responsible for leading the development of robust and scalable automation frameworks. Take ownership of automation initiatives for complex projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with other departments. responsible for planning, coordinating, creating test strategies, and execution of testing for system projects/applications, client driven changes, and helping test client conversions. This role is expected to also mentor/coach, give guidance, and lead the team of test automation engineers on testing practices. The role works with business, systems, and others to ensure quality is delivered when changes occur that will impact our internal users or external clients.
Responsibilities:
Creating end-to-end testing strategy utilizing best practices and methodology across complex areas for large projects
Coordinating end-to-end testing of deliverables.
Help provide direction to other testing team members
Help drive mitigation of any issues encountered prior, or during testing
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test scenarios and automated test scripts.
Expertise in design and development of complex automated test scripts.
Execution of automated test cases and interpret the results to identify issues.
Identify, document, and manage software defects to resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Assist in integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Required to do manual/automated end-to-end testing as needed.
Help gather and compile KPI and Metric Data as needed

Qualification/Skills - Required
8-10+ years overall testing experience with 5-7 years in automation testing or equivalent automation training
Strong proficiency in Java programming language (Core concepts)
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong understanding of end-to-end testing approach, and end user requirements
UI Automation: Good experience with test automation tools Selenium, JUnit, TestNG.
Good experience with Jira
Experience in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
Firm understanding of Gherkin test scenarios and feature files
Strong and effective communication skills.
Experience in effectively working/managing relationships
Advanced experience with SQL database querying
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills, with an excellent ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design and issues.
Experience in leading others, and providing demonstrated leadership in driving testing efforts

Working knowledge of Zephyr Enterprise, BrowserStack
Retirement Industry Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
