Job Purpose
As part of your job at SWIAT your responsibilities are within the Commercial Area focusing on one single Product, e.g., Onchain Collateral Management Solution or Registry Operations for financial institutions. Your purpose is to attract and accompany customers for the Product. After winning a customer, you will accompany him for getting the customer ready for scale.
You will work closely together with the Product Development Team which will provide you with new features and will use your market feedback to tailor the product development roadmap. Additional support for Marketing will be available by the Marketing Analysts at SWIAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Building up a strong pipeline and selling the Product to new clients across the financial sector (banks, brokers, asset managers, corporates)
- Identification of new Business Opportunities
- Contract Negotiation for the respective Product
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and strategically grow existing accounts
- Manage and support ongoing client projects
- Working closely with the product and technology team
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, workshops and commercial negotiations
- Monitor market and industry trends in blockchain, tokenization, collateral management and digital assets
Required Qualifications
- Academic degree in business administration, finance, mathematics or similar
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English and German (C1) is essential
- Highly structured and working independently
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiCAR, DLT Pilot Regime, eWpG) is a plus
Experience
- +6 years of experience in product, projects and customer interactions within complex financial services and a with a network within the industry, e.g., with work experience as a solution consultant, sales solution engineer or other client facing role within the product area such as:
- Securities Lending / Repo,
- Collateral Management, or
- Treasury
- Risk Management Experience creating detailed client-guiding solutions for scalability, including design artifacts for processes and technical specifications with attention to detail
- Strong background in the respective business area of the application (collateral management & securities lending or digital securities and tokenization of securities)
- Knowledge about regulation for digital assets like DLT Pilot Regime, eWpG, MiCAR as well as strong background in previous regulation such as SFDR and CRR
- profound experience on requirements and legal backgrounds within Europe about Settlement, Custody Systems, and Payment Infrastructure, and NPPs
- Business expertise in the area of Collateral Management, Securities Lending, and Repo
- Implemented, managed, and accompanied projects at institutional customers or within its own financial institution
- Business and legal expertise in the area of business of the application
- Experience in technical sales to engineer sound and scalable processes for customers
- Strong and solid background in Blockchain Technology, digital assets, tokenization and collateral
Working Conditions
The primary place of work is our Frankfurt office, where most activities will take place. However, the role requires willingness to travel, both within Germany and potentially internationally, as part of your responsibilities. We also offer the flexibility to work remotely, but maintaining strong connections with the team is essential, so periodic in-person collaboration will be expected.
