Product Development Engineer, what we are looking for:

Are you passionate about solving real-world clinical challenges through engineering? At MicroAire, we're seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic innovation team and help bring life-changing medical devices from concept to reality.

This is more than just a design role-you'll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that transforms clinical insights into tangible solutions that improve patient outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Translate clinical and market research into product requirements
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on safety, usability, and manufacturability
• Own design documentation and support testing, validation, and design transfer activities
• Participate in surgery observations and Voice of Customer research
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation forward

What You'd Bring:

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• Applicable engineering internship experiences desired (medical device experience a plus!)
• SolidWorks proficiency and strong mechanical design fundamentals
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• A passion for innovation and improving lives through technology
