What You Will Do:

• All aspects of multi-discipline projects and clients from the proposal process to project closeout.
• You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities including client meetings, public hearings, and public involvement events so that projects move forward within the prescribed time frames and budgets.
• You will anticipate client needs, biases, and preferences and tailor communication and work output accordingly.
• You will lead, coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams working in multiple locations.
• You will work directly with municipal client staff to deliver CIP programs and or projects, potentially on-site in a staff augmentation setting.
• Formulate, track and meet program and project budgets and schedules.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare or coordinate preparation of project / client correspondence and documentation.
• You will participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients through the following activities: plans, leads and participates in client meetings and networking events.
• Develops new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise.
• Understanding of alternative funding sources for municipal projects, and ability to secure funding.
• As you advance in your career, you may also act as extension of client City engineering or public works staff in a managerial role and as a Client Manager, responsible for delivery of services across several WSB discipline to the client.

What You Will Bring: 

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Oklahoma.
• 5+ years municipal experience; direct experience working for a municipality is a plus
• Our preferred candidate would have experience in managing municipal CIP programs and projects, clients and staff in this market
• A history in delivering projects with positive customer service experiences.
• Ability to work 40 hours a week.
• Ability to work in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.
• A positive attitude, as well as a willingness to learn.
• The ability and desire to develop an understanding of, or even anticipate the client's needs, is a plus.
