Position: Project Manager
Reports to: Vice President
Technical Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned structural evaluation projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals.
- Oversee project staff and coordinate workload distribution to meet project deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and maintaining strong communication throughout project execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Quality Control and executive leadership, to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing invoices, subcontractor invoices, and project initiation forms (PIFs).
- Support the development of technical and fee proposals for new business opportunities.
- Ensure all work adheres to applicable codes, standards, and company quality assurance procedures.
Requirements:Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in structural engineering or related discipline.
- Strong technical understanding of structural systems, materials, and evaluation methodologies.
- Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software; structural analysis tools a plus.
Educational /Professional Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ and NY required.
General Qualities:
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Thorough knowledge of structural evaluation processes.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to navigate company internet-based systems.
- Proactive self-starter capable of setting a positive example for the staff.

- Actively participates in professional development and training and licensing.
Pay Transparency:
Base salary is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. Base salary is only one part of KS Engineers total compensation, which includes an annual discretionary bonus.
