Description
Company: Retina Specialty Institute
Location: Biloxi, Mobile/Baldwin County AL
About Us:
At Retina Specialty Institute, we’re experiencing remarkable growth, expanding our clinical research and new office locations within our coverage area. We are a leading retinal care provider and clinical trials center in the Southeast. We are based on an ambitious growth mindset focused on a legacy of excellence, innovation, and compassionate care spanning over 30 years. As an alternative to private equity, we are transitioning our ownership model to Physician and Employee-Owned entity (ESOP). We did so to incentivize and align all teams and tiers of our practice, which currently boasts a roster of 8 skilled physicians – Drs. Sunil Gupta, Maggie Shuler, John Myers, Ryan Tarantola, Anne Barańano, George Peters, Ahmet Ozkok, and Kristine Pierce – and multiple office from Panama City, Fl in the east to Biloxi, MS in the west.
Our current ranking as one of the nation’s foremost sites for coveted clinical trials is both a privilege, and an inspirational commitment. Being at the top comes with a responsibility – to each other and to our patients. We are part of something bigger, and we are driven to find a candidate who shares that passion. Because of our leading position, our patients have access to cutting-edge treatments in both pharmaceutical and device realms for prevalent retinal conditions. Our excitement burgeons for our newest trials featuring stem cell and gene therapies, representing the vanguard of innovation. Our innovation mindset has led us to be the founding practice for both US Retina and IRIS (Intelligent Retinal Imaging System).
Florida’s Gulf Coast, encompassing Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL, Destin, FL to Panama City, FL, beckons with a magnetic blend of Southern charm and coastal allure. Imagine a life where white sand beaches meet world-class golf courses, watersports, dining experiences, hospitality, and friendliness. Top-tier schools, a thriving economy, and vibrant arts and festivals are hallmarks of this fast-growing part of our state. With Mobile’s urban pulse and Fairhope’s charm, to the food chains at 30A close at hand and the Gulf’s serenity at your doorstep, Northwest Florida offers the quintessential Southern living experience, inviting you and your family to uncover both relaxation and excitement.
