Main Objective:

Senior Demand Planner is a key supply chain role providing end to end support for demand, supply planning and inventory optimization for Arthrex Korea. This person coordinates responses and actions for supply chain, distribution, and customer service functions, as well as collaborating very closely with Commercial Teams to ensure inventory is optimized through proper inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the market demand plan over the planning horizon to identify trends / issues / corrective actions through demand analysis, demand scenarios and reconciliation with financials
• Forecasting / Inventory management to ensure stock levels maximize sales and minimize distribution costs
• Leading the Arthrex Korea Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and financial plans.
• Partner and actively develop the relationship with Commercial team to build market knowledge over 18th months Planning Horizon and ensure forecasting is completed
• Accountable for Finished Goods Inventory within the warehouses - collaborate with management of Inventory Excess and Obsolescence (Expired, Damaged, Short-Dated and Slow Moving)
• Accountable for managing the prompt resolution of the Markets Backorder or the potential Backorder and managing purchasing from the 3rd party venders
• Actively manage the product portfolio and coordinate New Product Launches and End of Life Activities with Commercial and Marketing team
• Responsible for analyzing local market forecasts and executing inventory deployment based on that analysis.
• Work very closely with Demand and Supply both APAC and Global Team
• Own, monitor, and publish performance metrics and reports
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• University graduate with bachelor's degree
• Over 7 years of experience in SCM or Demand planning
• Understanding and experience in end-to-end supply chain operations especially in medical device industry is preferred
• Experience with SAP is necessary

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Fluency in Korean and English language
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent ability to analyze causes and find solutions.
• Good communication skill.
• Ability to cope with changing priorities and handle many tasks at once.
• Ability to deal with internal/external customers' requests in a professional manner.
• Strong Organization and problem-solving skills are required

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Required: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, SAP

Advantage if have: Power BI, IBM Planning Analytics Workspace(PAW)

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to find problems and solutions and execute promptly in proper way. Ability to stabilize operation flow and find problems and solutions with good management skill for counter parties. Ability to detect any potential risk and prepare preventative measures by discussing with concerned teams and checking regulations.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures set out by the organization. Ability to communicate, understand and negotiate our situation to the other party.
