The Senior Solutions Engineer works closely with Patterson Pope project resources and the Customer to fully understand the customer requirements and develop advanced solutions with the goal of delivering the highest quality, most cost-effective solution in a timely manner. These solutions will primarily be centered on installing, configuring, and customizing one to many complex modules of Hyland's OnBase product.
The Senior Solutions Engineer will lead our project implementation and provide support to complex issues. This includes configuring workflows, creating custom integrations, and supporting and troubleshooting the system as well as providing demonstrations, prototype reviews and sales support. This individual will also be asked to lead or assist in discovery, training, solution documentation and support services tasks.
Core functions of the Role:
• Consult with Customer Resources regarding solution and software options based on customer feedback
• Lead discovery sessions with to develop the functional requirements during discovery and engineering phases, providing guidance toward the optimal solution
• Implement the software and configure the solution incorporating the information captured during the discovery process
• Provide Prototype Reviews & Test enablement sessions for the client during the project build.
• Develop system design and specification documents, administrative documentation, and/or user documentation as needed
• Custom development of supporting applications and integrations using a variety of tools
• Handle technical and customer issues as they arise during implementations, escalating issues to other technical, business, or vendor resources as necessary
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of support issues as needed
• Provide training during an OnBase installation and on-going support once completed
• Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant OnBase modules and various integration tools and techniques as needed
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on project implementation and support
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Certified OnBase engineer
• Experience implementing OnBase projects
• Experience managing relational databases
• Experience with additional ECM systems is a plus but not required
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to translate technical concepts to end users
• Possesses strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to respond to client and user questions while conducting demonstrations and prototype reviews.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Self-motivated
• Individual can be remote
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, management information systems or related field preferred
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a familiarity with OnBase and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access or similar. Experience with marketing automation software and CRM systems.
