Overview:
Jazz Solutions is seeking a self-motivated Senior Test Engineer to supportan essential modernization project for a government agency.
Will Do:
Participate in test planning Perform tasks required for manual and automated test implementation
Review acceptance criteria
Create integration and regression test scenarios and test cases
Implement test data management strategy
Generate reports in Jira
Document defects and provide demos
Provide test effort and schedule estimates
Provide status updates to executives
Contribute within a SAFe environment including the Daily scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog grooming, Sprint/System Demos, Pl Planning, and Inspect & Adapt events
Must Have:
Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
15+ years of testing experience
10+ years of test automation experience API testing (SOAP UI, PostMan, or ReadyAPI)
Manual testing Database queries Writing test cases
Experience working in software development life cycle
Experience interacting with the client/customer
Experience with process improvements
Innovative problem starter
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Nice to Have:
Leadership or mentoring experience in guiding junior testers or leading test teams
Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
Experience with mobile application testing and frameworks like Appium AI exposure
