- Simulation Technologist
Description
Assists the Simulation Center with activities surrounding pre and post simulation events, running all the simulation related equipment, performing routine maintenance on all Simulation Center equipment, assisting with data collection and documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with inventory management and supporting activities as assigned to maintain quality and effective simulations.
**Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Requirements
Requires an Associate’s degree or higher with 1 + years’ of experience or HS diploma with three + years of experience.
CHSOS certification could be in lieu of a AS degree. Prefer one year experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations):
Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility in work hours that includes off hours and weekends to support Simulation Center programs/courses. Demonstrates good judgement and critical thinking skills when handling a variety of procedural and technical tasks with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
CHSOS certification preferred within 2 years of employment.
