As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Line of Business, you will play a vital role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted technology products. You will be a core technical contributor, responsible for developing critical technology solutions across various technical areas, aligning with the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, high-quality production code.
• Review and debug code written by others.
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance operational stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex technical problems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 9+ years applied experience
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge on Spring boot framework.
• Proficient in Java (including version 17 features like Streams).
• Ability to identify and automate opportunities using relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical disciplines such as cloud, AI, and machine learning.
• Practical experience with cloud-native applications.
