Description

Parraid is seeking a Software Engineer for a fast-paced collaborative agile team. As part of this team, you will be developing software for tactical edge devices, radios and other communications equipment, and cloud infrastructure. Our team is devops forward, CI-heavy, agile (utilizing Kanban), and self-reflecting.

Parraid, a products company, is wholly devoted to design, engineering, sales, and support of telemetry data systems and tactically-oriented, mission-critical communications solutions. We are headquartered in Hollywood, MD, with a great team, well-established product lines, and a growing client base.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer software for mission-focused communications appliances which are fielded operationally as critical links in mission success
• Develop a cross-platform tactical decentralized mesh network communications ecosystem
• Operate as a strong independent contributor and team collaborator
• Architect solutions spanning cloud infrastructure and bespoke in-house hardware
• Assure mission success via performance benchmark testing and custom automation

Required Skills

• Expertise in C# or other modern enterprise programming language
• Presence and open-minded collaboration in a remote environment
• Independent problem solving and skill development (budget provided!)

Technology Ecosystem

• .NET (not old)
• Decentralized mesh network messaging
• Cloud-hybrid environments using Terraform
• Tactically hardened Parraid appliances
• Radio and Voice over IP communications domains

• Remote-first position; Parraid Headquarters is in Hollywood, Maryland, United States

Recommended Education:

4-year Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent training or experience

Minimal Travel Required

Must be able to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance.

Salary Range
$110k - $150K
