About the role
DNV is seeking a Senior Customer Account Success Manager with the option to work a hybrid schedule at one of our many offices. This role would be serving Energy Systems on the Electric Grid team.
This role will be primarily based out of our Portland, OR, Corvallis, OR or Houston, TX office.
This is a critical and highly visible Customer Success role to maximize revenue retention, minimize churn, orchestrate customer win backs, promote value realization (post sales), and drive expansion. These capabilities are important as our Electric Grid business shifts our digital solutions from on premise to a recurring SaaS revenue model. Success in this role is highly dependent on the ability to work cross functionally, understand value drivers, level shift between different levels of stakeholder engagement, and own critical KPIs (ex. NRR, Churn Rate, Expansion Targets, etc.).

About you
- 6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related customer-facing role, preferably in B2B SaaS, digital solutions, or technology-enabled services
- Bachelors Degree
- Proven track record of reducing churn, driving renewals, and expanding revenue within existing accounts
- Proven ability to effectively partner cross functionally to drive growth and expansion
- Strong experience managing executive-level relationships and complex stakeholder environments
- Practical experience in utility, electrical grid, or related energy industries
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
Preferred Experience - Inspires and influences others with credibility and respect, effectively promoting ideas and driving alignment
- Collaborates seamlessly across global and cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
- Broad understanding of the North American Electric Utility market
- Experience working in a global or enterprise customer environment
- Familiarity with value engineering, ROI modeling, or outcome-based success frameworks
- Existing business network in the U.S. Energy Landscape
