Description
Join Axon and be a Force for Good.At Axon, we're on a mission to Protect Life. We're explorers, pursuing society's most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you'll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Your Impact
Axon Records is a cloud-based records management system that modernizes how law enforcement agencies capture, manage, and access data. It streamlines report writing and approval workflows with structured data entry, real-time collaboration, and intelligent automation. Our products north star is to make an impact on the world by reducing the amount of time officers spend at their desks writing reports and increase the amount of time officers spend out in their communities helping the public.
The International Squad is a full stack team that works across multiple areas of our products and focus on the internationalization and localization of features, extending them to suit the needs of international law enforcement agencies outside the United States. Expanding the adoption of our Records products to international customers is one of our key goals, and this squad is the main engineering team executing the work to make that happen.
An ideal candidate would be a full stack developer who leans more towards the front-end, but also with back-end experience in micro services and distributed systems. In addition to writing code, the Sr Software Engineer is a role in which engineers are expected to set high technical standards for the team, mentor and train less experienced engineers and lead large and complex projects.
Our team is looking for someone who excels at cross-team collaboration and can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners. You should be comfortable building relationships across engineering teams to understand existing systems and make changes confidently and responsibly, while also partnering with stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into well-scoped technical work. This role requires the ability to explain tradeoffs, constraints, and project progress in a way that creates shared clarity-helping teams align on priorities, expectations, and delivery plans, especially when supporting customer go-lives and other time-sensitive initiatives.
Join us in making a meaningful impact on the lives of law enforcement and the communities they serve, as part of a passionate and mission-driven group dedicated to innovation and excellence.
