Assistant Professor Position in Environmental Engineering: The candidate hired into this position is expected to strengthen and expand the research expertise in environmental engineering and have research experience in advanced water and wastewater treatment, water reuse, resource recovery, physicochemical treatment, aquatic chemistry, or emerging contaminants and water quality monitoring.

Assistant Professor Position in Smart and Resilient Infrastructure: The position is part of ODU’s Centennial Faculty Cluster Hire initiative within the sea level rise (SLR) and coastal resilience research focus area and will play an important role in advancing the strategic vision of the college and university in terms of addressing global challenges associated with SLR and natural hazards.

Associate/Full Professor Position in Future Sea Level Rise and Its Uncertainty: This position is part of ODU’s Centennial Faculty Hire initiative in SLR and coastal resilience. The faculty member is expected to develop transdisciplinary research, education, and outreach programs that can integrate understanding of relative and global SLR, spatial modeling, and coastal engineering solutions applied to coastal resilience.

Requirements
1. A record of disseminating knowledge through archival journal publications.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license or plan to acquire in the near future.
3. Have experience in teaching and conducting sponsored research.
4. Able to transfer existing projects.
