The REU program is a 10-week experience designed to nurture the next generation of innovative minds by providing an environment where students can explore cutting-edge technological solutions to real-world challenges. This program not only aims to equip participants with essential research skills but also to nurture their creativity and critical thinking.
Requirements
Students will engage in interdisciplinary projects, acquiring skills to prepare them for graduate school and to develop professionally. Activities will be directed by diverse faculty and staff mentors. The program’s success will be highlighted at a campus-wide symposium attended by peers, graduate students, research scientists, faculty, and industry professionals. Research goals and activities will align with the mission of the program.
