Terma North America is the U.S. holding company for the North American activities of Terma. Through a local presence near customers and partners Terma North America is contributing to the U.S. economy and supporting American jobs.
Multiple international customers are acquiring Terma capabilities through U.S. system and platform integrators using Terma as a partner in direct commercial sales or via U.S. government Foreign Military Sales programs. Through Terma's U.S. presence international clients are getting increased access to our mission critical technology.
With a strong customer base for advanced platforms and systems, Terma is in a position to further develop high-value related services, which are immediately available to our customers. Our commitment is to raise the services' share of our business.
For the production of its electronics solutions and aerostructures, Terma buys parts, components, tooling, and other material from the United States, thereby supporting high quality manufacturing jobs across the U.S.
Company History
Terma was founded in Aarhus, Denmark by the brothers Orla and Svend Aage Jørgensen. The small mechanical shop manufactured gas cylinders and autoclaves as well as thermometers and manometers - inspiring the name Terma.
For more than three decades, Terma has developed a significant presence in the U.S. as provider of mission critical solutions for the aerospace, defense and security sectors - during which time the company has established a proven track record. We are known as an independent, flexible, and fast responding partner for mission customized solutions.
Terma North America Inc. (TNA) facilitates the growth and development of Terma U.S. business through local presence near customers and partners. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, TNA provides interface with the Department of Defense, U.S. armed services, the U.S. Government, and prime contractors.

Retirement/401(k) Plans
TNA has a retirement plan that include both company contributions and the opportunity for employee pretax contributions up to the maximum prescribed by law. Whatever you put in the 401(k) plan, plus any investment income your savings may earn, is not taxed until you take it out of the plan.
Life and Accident Insurance
At no cost to you, you receive a nominal amount of life insurance and accidental death or dismemberment insurance with the opportunity to purchase additional amounts.
Paid Leave / Vacation / Holidays
In addition to ten paid holidays annually, eligible TNA employees enjoy a minimum of two weeks of vacation and one week of sick leave per year, accrued monthly.
