| Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25 lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off campus for meetings and to monitor job sites. |

| Job Summary | Build and Support the Infrastructure That Keeps Campus Connected The University of Kentucky is seeking an Engineer Telecom to support the planning, design, and delivery of telecommunications and structured cabling infrastructure across campus. This position is part of UK's evolving IT strategy and will report through the Technology Services department in Beyond Blue effective July 1, 2026. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, construction, and IT infrastructure, helping ensure reliable, high-quality connectivity for university operations. You'll contribute to capital projects, collaborate with internal and external partners, and support the systems that keep communication and data flowing across campus. What You'll Do
