Summary:
As the Quality Inspector you'll be responsible for the critical inspection of incoming parts with a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) focus. You'll inspect soldering components, polarity and more. With your working knowledge of IPC 610 and PCBA you will inspect parts and product through the entire manufacturing process. - Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection activities using inspection tools/gages (calipers, micrometers, ring/plug, height, etc.) and CMM's.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI/FAIR).
- Initiate and facilitate nonconformance tags through MRB.
- Perform MRB activities such as disposition, scrap, and evaluations.
- Coordinate issues between organizations in a professional manner.
- Ensure products meet required specifications, engineering drawings, or other technical data.
- Understands and ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA, ESHM, & AS9100D).
- Ability to obtain source inspection and other customer/AS9100 designations.
- Navigate and sign-off work order operations in the digital manufacturing execution system.
- Inspect PCBAs to IPC-610 standards.
- Inspect PCBA components for correct component, correct location, and correct polarity.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
- 1- 2 years experience in inspection is required. Experience within the aerospace industry and AS9102 preferred.
- PCBA assembly or inspection is highly desired.
- AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machine programming or operation experience highly desired.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and other related literature is necessary
- Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) skills.
- Familiar with PCBA inspection.
- IPC-610 certification, prior certification, or ability to be certified.
- Familiar with Windows Operating System®, MS Office including (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
- Ability to be onsite Monday Friday, at the Seminole, OK facility required. With the ability for 9-10 hours work days sometimes required.
