The Role: As a Sr. Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of impactful construction projects from early planning through final close-out - while building trusted relationships with clients, trade partners, and colleagues along the way. In this role, you're not just managing work - you're shaping outcomes. You'll be empowered to make decisions, solve complex challenges, and mentor project teams, all while balancing schedule, budget, quality, and safety. What You'll Do
- Lead construction projects from preconstruction through close‑out, owning results across schedule, budget, quality, and safety
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Owners and design partners, building trust through transparency and follow‑through
- Coordinate with Estimating, Superintendents, Accounting, and Field teams to ensure strong project start‑ups and smooth execution
- Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to clearly define scope, risks, and responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, logistics, schedules, and procurement strategies that set teams up for success
- Oversee subcontractor and vendor selection to ensure alignment with project requirements, performance expectations, and safety standards
- Facilitate job progress meetings to track milestones, resolve issues, and keep teams aligned
- Monitor job costs, approve invoices, and proactively manage financial performance against budget and forecast
- Champion a proactive safety culture by reinforcing company safety programs and expectations on every jobsite
- Guide project close‑out activities, including punch lists, warranties, O&M manuals, lien waivers, and final documentation
- Mentor and support project staff, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities
- Support business development efforts by strengthening client and industry relationships and identifying future opportunities
What You Bring
- Extensive experience successfully managing complex construction projects with a high level of accountability
- 14+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership roles such as Project Manager, APM, or Project Engineer
- Strong client‑facing skills, with a track record of building lasting relationships and repeat business
- Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, contract administration, and risk management
- Financial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Excellent communication skills - you can lead meetings, resolve conflict, and present information clearly and confidently
- A collaborative leadership style that motivates teams, values field expertise, and earns trust
- Proficiency with construction technology and software (Procore preferred), Microsoft Office, scheduling, and accounting tools
- Familiarity with AIA contract documents and project administration best practices
- A commitment to safety, integrity, and quality in everything you do
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to work between office and project sites as needed
