Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Downers Grove, IL: Staff Software Development Engineer to design, deliver, and drive key technical activities for small and large software applications engineering projects across multiple technical environments. Evaluate and recommend tools,technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality application design. Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance, and end users to produce cutting-edge softwaresolutions. Involved throughout the entire development life cycle of software product and deliver efficient solution, identifying and mitigating any risks to the product before deployment toproduction. Deliver innovative software solutions which meet business needs and opportunities by integrating information, business process refinement, and technology. Identifyopportunities to increase internal process efficiency by applying novel technology concepts to existing business processes. Serve as technical contributor in the design of new softwareapplications or enhancements of existing software solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, independently designing and coding system functionality, anddeveloping cost-effective applications and program solutions. Work with the Safe Agile development team(s) for building software products, partnering with product team(s) to translateproduct strategy into high-performance code and in creating advanced capabilities. Participate in PI feature scoping (PI) and discovery and help translates user features into applicationDesign. Independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. 60 months of experience in Progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: 1. Java;2. XML;3. Agile Methodologies4. J2EE;5. REST;6. SOAP;7. Web Services API's; and8. Performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions. Pay Range: $153317.00/year to $260590.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
