Your role
As a Technical Project Lead (TPL) at Munich Electrification, you are responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of complex automotive electronics projects, with a focus on Battery Management Systems (BMS). You plan and steer all technical deliverables across the full V-cycle, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, internal system requirements, and achievable implementation. You are accountable for technical timing, integration, and delivery excellence.
Your future tasks at a glance
- Plan and align all technical deliverables across the full V-cycle.
- Own and maintain the technical project timeline (FROP - Full Release & Execution Plan).
- Coordinate close alignment with engineering teams across SW, HW, and systems.
- Steer and support the Field Application Engineer.
- Consolidate technical Change Requests and assess technical feasibility.
- Ensure alignment between SW roadmap, HW development, and customer releases.
- Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation strategies.
- Track implementation progress across all technical teams.
- Ensure technical deliverables are completed on time.
- Support ASPICE compliance and technical audit readiness.
- Make sure the project is a success.
What you bring with you
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: High-level understanding of automotive electronics, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and embedded systems.
- Project Management Experience: Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams in automotive or energy projects.
- V-Cycle Knowledge: Experience with V-cycle development in automotive projects.
- Stakeholder Skills: Strong technical stakeholder alignment capability; ability to translate customer needs into structured technical execution.
- Mindset: Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Use AI tools to track project timelines, predict delays and risks, and automate reporting.
- Leverage data and AI-based dashboards to monitor project variables, analyze customer requirements, and support data-driven decisions.
- Derive insights on team velocity, resource gaps, and project performance using statistical and data-driven methods.
